“Take that, Hurricane!” Is a story for children and about children. And to make it more interesting for children, I have put together a few activities to serve as companion resources for book events and private use. I hope you’ll be able to use them to boost your kids’ creativity, with a little help from Super Tess!
Hurricane Scene
You will need
- Construction Paper
- Scissors
- Gluesticks or Glue
- Crayons or colored pencils
- Super Tess Printouts (see below)
- Print out these cutouts. They are easier to cut if they are on thicker paper, like cardstock.
- Color in the printout you would like to add to your scene
- Cut out your shapes and glue them onto a piece of construction paper
- Use construction paper to make grass, trees, houses, animals, etc.
- Get creative! What would you like to put in your cleanup scene?
