What kind of Stories do we tell?

As an author and illustrator, Rebekah Hair loves to tell stories! Whether it’s a a story for small children teaching them about friendship and doing the right thing (Tobey the Collector) or a story for older kids about hurricanes and recovery, (Take that, Hurricane!) she’ll bring joy and color to your library!

Tobey the Collector

Tobey isn’t like the other grackles. His passion is for treasure, and he leaves his home to seek adventure and treasure! On his quest for shiny things, he discovers something truly priceless… but what if that treasure belonged to someone else? Will Tobey do the right thing, even if it means giving up the greatest treasure he’s ever found?

Meant for younger children. This story contains themes of friendship, honesty, caring for others, and finding beauty in little things.

Take that, Hurricane!

A Hurricane has torn through Coastal City, destroying the home of Super Tess! Declaring vengeance against this new villain, Super Tess swears to set her city to right and save the day once more, no matter how difficult! Follow Super Tess as she traces the steps of hurricane recovery with joy and confidence!

For ages 5-10. This story contains themes of heroism, community, willingness to ask for help, and staying joyful despite hardship

Illustration work

Rebekah has also worked as an illustrator for outside work. Though these stories and characters are not hers, she provided the character designs and did extensive work for the projects. 

Lessons with Lemuel

An episodic lesson book depicting Lemuel and his adventures, connected to the book of Proverbs! Follow Lemuel as he learns about the world and what God says in his word, learning to be wise from his parents, teachers, and pastor!
